Tuesday morning on KHON,
The crew totally swerked it not once, but TWICE, on Wake Up 2Day to help promote the Life Foundation's Honolulu AIDS Walk, comin' up this Sunday, April 15th at Kapi'olani Park in Waikiki. SJW will be takin' over nearly the entire morning set, opening with our first flashmob number "Turn Up the Music" at 8am, as we celebrate National Dance Week. It's still not too late to learn the choreo and join us, so to view the video tutorials, jus' click here.
Then, from 8:00 on, SJW will be doing a set of some of our fave numbers to get everyone warmed up for the walk, so please come n swerk it with us. At about 8:45, we'll be doing our 2nd flashmob number "Party Rock Anthem", which will lead into the countdown of the walk. Don't forget: We also need to take everyone to the starting line. But back to the crew on KHON...you gotta love it, everyone did an awesome job! Our underlying message was to show the masses that ANYONE and EVERYONE can swerk it, and that it's all about honoring positive relationships! With that said, much thanks to the KHON morning crew for allowing us to SWERK! A special thanks to Leanne, Char, Nikki, Shawntell, Shannon, Socee, and Trankie (Mr. Showmanship) for waking up in the wee hours of the morning.
