Pono Ola Fest Wrap Up...

Daaaaaammmn!,
What to say about Pono Ola Fest?  Umm, can we say "Huge Success"?!  SJW was blown away with the masses of people who came to support and take part in this first time event at Windward Mall.  We gotta send a special shout out to Gayla Traylor who was House Mother Mara's partner-in-crime in putting this event together.

Before we forget, the crew wanted to send a huge mahalo to Zumbatomic and the E Ola Koa Crew, Hot Hula Fitness, Team Kane'ohe Zumba, Team Kailua Zumba and the Line Dancing Crew.

As SJW was in the planning phases of Pono Ola Fest, the crew knew that we all wanted to turn things out, and turn it out big.  So we all put our heads together to make Pono Ola Fest a memorable experience for all our SJW Swerkaholics and new fanatics to be.

One of the many surprises we planned for the day was to bring on stage our SJW Shufflebots, made up of a trio of students from the E Ola Koa crew.  They turned it out during our LMFAO "Party Rock Anthem" and "I'm Sexy and I Know It" songs.  Also, as a special surprise feature, the "Kia Hamsters" also turned it out during "Party Rock Anthem" and danced with everyone on the floor.

Man, there was thunderous screams and applause when SJW approached the stage with their opening number "Party Rock Anthem" that was so hella cool, it had to have been the SJW Shufflebots.

While this was going on stage, another one of SJW's surprises was to host a Scavenger Hunt "Golden Ticket" contest, where we dropped clues online via our Twitter, Facebook and website pages to each of our three golden tickets.

All the while, Mara got everyone bumpin, swerkin' and dancing...

And swerk it people did.  One of our SJW crew members counted at least 50 people on the floor during our set, daaaaaammmn that's jus' crazy!...

Another surprise SJW did, was hand out "SJW envelopes" for those who were swerkin' it on the floor during our set.  Each of these envelopes held a coupon for a free dance sesh at any of our SJW locations.

Besides the crew, no one else knew about this surprise, and it was hella hard to decide who was to get one of ten envelopes, because people swerked it...

Swerked it...

Swerked it...

And swerked it...

With that said, the SJW Crew wanted to send a HUUUUUGGGGGEEE thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Pono Ola Fest and helped make it a huge success!
